Black and White 2017

Propeller Gallery

Propeller gallery presents the seventh annual Black & White Ball, a juried exhibition featuring works in black and white. All media & approaches are welcome!

The exhibit is inspired by Truman Capote's 1966, Black and White Ball, held at the Grand Ballroom of New York City's Plaza Hotel. It was considered to be "the most posh event, not just of the year, but also of the decade, and maybe even the century” ... "Iconic, bitchy, mysterious, elegant...” are just some of the many adjectives used to describe the event - and the guests. Let these inspire and engage you!

Propeller will be hosting the Black & White Reception, on Thursday, February 2nd from 6:30 to 9:30pm.

In the spirit of the original Ball, please dress in black and white. Masks and fans are encouraged!

Jury members: Robin Kingsburgh, Ross Winter & David Griffin.
